I received an email a few weeks ago informing me I had been nominated to feature in the Brainz 500 Global list. I received the email and my first thought was to question it, is it spam? Is this a real thing?? Am I really going to be positioned next to names such as Mel Robbins, Simon Sinek just to name a few? I decided to sit with it and as you can imagine, days went by and I didn’t think any more of it.
Then Wednesday 4th November arrived, I was casually carrying on with my day to day. I checked my emails and there it was, an email to congratulate me on being selected for a feature in the BRAINZ 500 Global List. Just before I jumped on zoom to support the members in the Growth Academy with a co-working session.
Here’s a snippet of the email I received:
I’m happy to announce that your name has been selected for a feature in Brainz 500 Global list of 2020 that will be published in December this year. The specific date of publishing will be updated on our social media channels.
You have been selected as one out of a total of 500 Companies, Entrepreneurs, Influential leaders and Small business owners worldwide recognized for their entrepreneurial success, achievements or dedication to help others.
I am so thrilled! What a wonderful achievement to add to my portfolio, I’ve also since received confirmation that I will be one of the Executive Contributors to the Brainz 500 Magazine. I’m totally doing the happy dance!
I welcome you to focus on your achievements that make you proud to celebrate. Celebrate without fear, celebrate with pride and joy that your achievements are in fact a reward for the hard work, dedication and effort you have implemented.
