October 2020, I received an ultimate email. From a global magazine, informing me I had been nominated as one of the top 500 entrepreneurs in the world. As you can imagine, I was completely over joyed at this phenomenal nomination.
A few weeks later, I received another email telling me I had been selected as one of the finals for the Brainz 500 list 2020! At this point I felt completely overwhelmed and also excited, to be a part of such a phenomenal list of people, such as Mel Robbins, Simon Sinek to name a couple.
Today I received notification that the List is now LIVE and has been launched. Seeing this in black and white has totally lifted spirits. As we are fighting this global pandemic, the world is still going.
Can it be true that despite a global pandemic, and highly dangerous mutating virus, I have still received this award. I had completely forgotten about this, and it had been something that I had totally put to the back of my mind.
I can honestly say with my hand on my heart that despite the odds, and the billions of people in this world, I am truly blessed to have received this award today. Of course I would love you to share this moment of gratitude with me.
Can you stop for just a second in your day and place your hands over your heart and thank yourself for all that you are. All that you have strived to achieved and all that you aspire to be. Please take this moment now. To simple acknowledge how far you have come. For all the things you HAVE achieved.
I take a breath in this moment, to give gratitude for not only receiving this award, but for being reminded to take a moment and reflect on everything I have personally achieved as a mum to 3 girls, a former victim of domestic abuse and a former victim to autoimmune disease, PTSD, Anxiety, Depression and so much more. For had I not had the strength to face my deepest darkest fears and follow my gut and intuition. I would not be sat here today, counting my blessings.
I welcome you to join me in counting the blessings today, as we figure out and follow the government guidelines, to stay safe, to stay home and embrace a Christmas that up until now has never been known.
